Clenergy Supports COD Deadline for Vietnam’s Newly Approved FITs

The 2^nd Feed-in-Tariff for Solar in Vietnam was officially released by their government on the 6^th of April. It appears to be what the local market expected. The local government has set a new feed-in tariff (FIT) rate for #FloatingSolar, #Rooftop and utility-scale applications. The FIT tariff table is below.

“We have been anticipating the FIT 2 for over 10 months and it is a much-needed boost for Utility-scale projects moving forward in Vietnam. Even though the time frame for completion is very tight, we believed many projects will still be able to achieve the COD (Commercial Operation Date) in time by 31 Dec 2020” – said Vincent Chan, Regional Manager– International Sales Dept.
