Daniel Hong is Clenergy’s Chief Executive Officer, leading the company as it builds a platform that empowers the renewables industry worldwide. He holds an EMBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from Swinburne University of Technology (Australia). Additionally, Daniel has more than 20 years in project and corporate management. Daniel’s leadership experience includes growing consumer technology companies and scaling global marketplaces. He is an innovative entrepreneur who co-founded Clenergy in 2007 with two other founders. He gained his stripes over the years working with world-renowned companies such as Read, Auscom, NEC Australia, and IBM. He championed different roles, including Chief Representative, Chief Consultant, etc. Daniel has a deep commitment to the community and corporate social responsibility. He sets a culture of giving back to our industry. He is our progressive leader and thrives on growing our brand.

Vince has been part of the Clenergy family since 2010. Starting out as our National Sales Manager, he soon took over the reins as Country Manager and now based in the Australian headquarters, Vince spearheads our global PV Distribution division. Before joining Clenergy, Vince developed his commercial skills in the Information Technology & Telecommunication industry, managing Distribution, Commercial and Enterprise accounts with NEC Corporation. Since the beginning Vince has employed a ‘hands-on’ management style, ensuring his people are passionate experts who drive excellence in support of their customers. Moving forward, he sees solar transforming many of the environmental and energy challenges facing our world today and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the industry, his company and his partners.

Dennis has over 20 years of experience as a Senior Finance Executive in FMCG and manufacturing industry particularly in international business management and multi-national operations in Europe and Asia. Dennis has all round financial, business, legal, IT, HR and logistics management skills.

Haydn has over 25-years industry experience, recently joining Clenergy after 10-years with panel manufacturer Canadian Solar, where he lead the Australian operations for 8-years before spending 18-months as GM for Africa and Middle East.

Samir Jacob brings more than 25 years of marketing experience and over 15 years in the renewable energy industry. He holds an MBA from the University of Western Australia and has led brand, go-to-market, and growth strategies across diverse sectors including renewables, education, tourism, FMCG, and engineered mechanical & electrical products. Having lived and worked across Australia, Europe, and the Middle East, Samir brings a global perspective and a deep understanding of how brands connect with customers across cultures and markets. At Clenergy, he focuses on building strong, future-ready brands, aligning technical innovation with clear market positioning, and driving sustainable growth across global regions.

Having joined the company over 10 years ago, Geza is a veteran in the PV industry and has worked across several business divisions at Clenergy, including product management, marketing, product development, and engineering. As the Engineering Manager, Geza oversees a dedicated team of civil, structural and geotechnical engineers, delivering complex engineering solutions and certifications for PV mounting structures utilised in solar projects of all sizes. Geza is originally from Hungary, having moved to Australia in 2009, and has a Master of Business and Engineering from the University of Stuttgart (HdM). In his spare time, Geza enjoys travelling and adventuring with his family as well as surfing.

Ivan began his career with Clenergy as a PV engineer. Through the years he acquired new skills from different aspects of the business such as project management, logistics, inventory management and transitioned into a sales engineering role to support the company’s growth in the C&I Sector. Ivan is now an account manager at Clenergy where he services and supports our partners with their business growth and C&I opportunities all the way from design work to logistics planning. Ivan has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a keen interest in new battery storage systems of the future, particularly hydrogen fuel cells!

Yuneska has been rocking the engineering field for the last 10 years. Her background is cross-disciplinary, between project management, seismic hazard, and geotechnical field. Since the start of her career at Clenergy she has helped develop geotechnical and engineering solutions for projects in the commercial, residential, and utility sectors. She also supports the structural analysis for roof mounting systems. Her addition to the team brought a deep insight of the impact of the ground conditions and the importance of footing design. Originally from Venezuela, where she gained a double degree in civil engineering and civil constructions. Yuneska states: "soil conditions are like opening Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates - you just never know what you’re gonna get, it makes me so excited with every project!"

With an engineering background, project management, and a degree in civil engineering, Andres brings experience across a diverse range of international markets. He has working knowledge of noise control and acoustics, along with a strong ability to understand client priorities and build effective working relationships with customers, regulatory authorities, and contractors, supported by site, structural, and construction experience. With over six years of international sales and business development experience at Clenergy, Andres has supported and assisted the growth of markets across Australia, New Zealand, and America. Bringing a strong commercial focus, he works closely with partners to expand market presence, identify new opportunities, and deliver practical, value-driven solutions tailored to customer needs.

Robert Vose is an Account Manager and Data Analyst at Clenergy Australia with over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. He previously established and led Clenergy’s Malaysia office and brings a multidisciplinary background in data analytics, systems engineering, and supply chain management. He is driven by a long-term vision to integrate clean energy with automation, robotics, and intelligent systems to improve the efficiency, safety, and scalability of large-scale solar deployment.

Bruce has been with Clenergy for 2 years and has been in the renewables industry for 7 years. Previously Bruce worked in the large format printing industry where he spent 14 years in various roles from sales and design through to production manager. Bruce owned his own coffee van business in Sydney for many years. He now lives in the Northern Rivers of NSW with is wife and 2 boys. Bruce loves spending time with his family, long walks along the beach and death metal.

Gopal Vohra began his career at Clenergy as a Junior Product Solutions Engineer and has progressed through multiple roles to his current position as Account Manager for Victoria, Tasmania, New Zealand, and the Pacific. With a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Renewable Resources and a minor in Mining, He brings a strong technical foundation combined with practical experience in project management, business improvement, and driving strategic outcomes. Gopal works closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver effective solutions, streamline processes, and drive growth across the markets he supports. Known for his “Get Sh*t Done” attitude, he thrives on turning challenges into tangible results while building strong relationships along the way.

Steve has been in the renewables industry for over a decade with proven energy-related technical and project management skills. Steve holds a postgraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manchester (UK). Steve manages all new product innovations for Clenergy Australia. He prioritises designs as per customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with our global R&D team, engineering to deliver winning solutions.

Maheenul (Maheen) Islam is a Solutions Manager and Professional Engineer at Clenergy Australia, leading technical support and project delivery across multiple regions. He brings extensive experience in PV system design, ground-mount and rooftop projects, CPD training, and demo installations. Maheen enjoys tackling complex challenges, streamlining workflows, and turning technical complexity into practical, easy-to-implement solutions for teams and clients alike. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Computer Systems) from Monash University and has a diverse background spanning engineering, software, and product solutions. This blend of experience gives him a strong problem-solving toolkit, helping him bridge design, technical delivery, and client-focused outcomes. Outside of work, Maheen is an Age of Empires II enthusiast, always ready to optimise resources, plan strategies, and occasionally “declare war” on his allies — proving that a love for strategy and problem-solving isn’t limited to the office.

Mihiri has been with Clenergy for almost four years, helping bring solar projects to life across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. She enjoys working alongside customers and installers to navigate the challenges of each project, applying her structural and geotechnical expertise to develop practical solutions for complex PV systems. Originally from Sri Lanka, Mihiri completed her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering before moving to Melbourne, where she earned a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Melbourne. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures that keep her active and inspired.

Catherine joined the company in 2021 and has been working on renewable energy projects, focusing on wind load and structural analysis for PV mounting systems. As a Solution Engineer, she collaborates closely with structural and geotechnical engineers and other specialists to deliver practical and reliable engineering solutions. Her role also covers database management and technical tools integration. Based in Melbourne, she enjoys playing badminton and volleyball in her spare time.

I bring over 15 years ofexperience across the solar industry, including 7 years at Energy Matters and 8 years at Canadian Solar. Aftera short career break, I'm excited to be back and even more excited to be joining Clenergy. The team has been incredibly welcoming, and I'm looking forward to connecting with businesses across Queensland and achieving great things together!

Kee is the Global IT manager at Clenergy Australia where he leads the company’s IT and organisational transformation, focusing on delivering cost savings and implementing technologies, tools and processes needed to advance Clenergy as a digital leader. Before his current role, Kee was the IT Manager at an automotive distribution company where he helped accelerate the adoption of cloud computing. Kee holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from Monash University and a master’s degree in information technology from Swinburne University. He is based in Melbourne, Australia.

Charles Dai is a Management Accountant at Clenergy, supporting the organisation’s financial planning, reporting, and analytical activities to strengthen data‑driven decision‑making across the business. He is a full member of CPA Australia. Graduated from Monash University, Charles brings strong analytical capability and well‑developed expertise in management accounting, financial modelling, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration. Since joining Clenergy in 2022, he has consistently contributed to enhancing financial processes and supporting the company’s continued operational excellence.

Rob has over 10 years of experience in the solar industry, working extensively in the NSW residential market. I Have worked with solar retailers delivering direct-to-consumer solutions and has been with Clenergy for the past 15 months, applying his industry knowledge in system sales and project delivery. He previously worked as an Account Manager for Cisco, building strong technical expertise and a customer-focused sales approach. Highly hands-on and technically minded, his interests include fishing, boating, camping, Japanese cars, and rebuilding boats.

Sam He is an Electronic Engineer with over 28 years of engineering experience across the communications, medical, and clean energy industries. He has spent 15 years in the communications sector, followed by 10 years in the medical industry, and most recently 3 years in the clean energy sector. At Clenergy, Sam works on Energy Storage System (ESS) product development and cloud management platforms, with a focus on system integration, reliability, and compliance. His work spans embedded systems, device–cloud communication, CSIP compliance, and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) integration, supporting the delivery of scalable and grid-compliant energy solutions. Sam brings strong cross-domain expertise and a practical engineering mindset, bridging hardware, firmware, and cloud systems to support the development of robust clean energy products.

Toyo has over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. He worked with the Japan team as QA/PM. and is currently collaborating with the corporate HQ QM Dept team in China to oversee company-wide QMS activities. Toyo holds postgraduate degrees in Business Administration and Financial Planning from Swinburn University, and he has also obtained an ISO 9001 Auditor certificate. As part of his QMS responsibilities, he is involved in QA support, Business Improvement (Kaizen) initiatives, and strengthening WHS practices. In his free time, Toyo enjoys cars and motorcycles (Both On and Off road), and he sometimes spends entire days working in his garage.

Udayanka is a dedicated professional with over seven years of experience in researching residential PV battery systems and energy management. He has established himself as a notable figure in this field, with a track record of publishing his research in esteemed academic journals. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, Udayanka possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of power electronics and renewable energy systems. Currently serving as a Senior Products Engineer at Clenergy, Udayanka plays a pivotal role in advancing the company's research and development initiatives. His commitment to a sustainable energy future is unwavering, and he actively works to bridge the technological gaps necessary to achieve this goal.

Jax joined Clenergy as an Inventory Manager, bringing experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, and operations. In his current role, he supports inventory planning and operational execution for solar racking and energy storage system (ESS) products. Prior to joining Clenergy, Jax gained supply chain experience within the pharmaceutical industry and a multinational manufacturing environment. With an academic background in logistics and international business, Jax is known for his strong planning and analytical capabilities. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, travelling, and staying active. Looking ahead, he is focused on continuing to develop his expertise and supporting efficient, scalable supply chain operations within the renewable energy sector.

Neville brings a strong mix of B2B marketing strategy, events, and creative content experience, having worked with global brands like NVIDIA, Michael Kors, and Toll Group. He holds a Marketing degree from the University of Sydney and a Master’s in Multimedia Design, blending strategy with creativity. Originally from Hong Kong, Neville has spent over a decade years living across Shanghai and Australia, bringing diverse cultural perspectives into his marketing approach. He’s passionate about storytelling, connecting people, and building brands that resonate across markets. Outside work, he enjoys bouldering, badminton, and hiking.

Rebecca is the Finance Manager at Clenergy with over 18 years of experience across financial reporting, taxation, internal control, audit and assurance, and financial management in Australia, the UK, Greater China, and Southeast Asia. She previously held senior finance roles at Calvary Health Care (formerly Japara Healthcare). Rebecca began her career at Deloitte, progressing from Graduate to Manager, advising listed and multinational organisations over more than a decade across multiple industries, including renewable energy sector.

Diwahar has been with Clenergy for about a year & has been in the Solar Industry for about 6 years. Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineer with a Masters Degree specialising in Electrical & Renewable Energy Engineering . He has experience across Solar PV systems, battery storage and renewable energy design with a strong understanding of Australian Standards & industry compliance. Diwahar values precision, transparency & continuous learning that deliver both technical excellence and real world impact.

Shams is a Senior Product Engineer with over 6 years of experience in solar mounting systems, working in the renewable energy space. At Clenergy, he looks after the Rooftop, Runnur, and Fixed Tilt product ranges—covering from product development, documentation, internal training, promotion, pricing, and inventory management. His focus is on turning real site challenges into simple, workable products that are reliable in the field and practical for the people who install them. On weekends, you’ll usually find him on a cricket field, where the only thing that needs fine tuning is his cover drive.

Sherry is a Data Scientist and AI Engineer at Clenergy, specialising in building enterprise AI solutions that support business operations and decision-making. She focuses on designing and deploying AI agents integrated with internal knowledge bases, automation workflows, and ERP/CRM systems, helping teams improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. She holds a Master’s degree in Information & Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science from the University of Sydney, graduating with First Class Honours. Her technical expertise includes machine learning, computer vision, time-series forecasting, and AI agent systems. Outside of work, Sherry enjoys dancing, skiing, and travelling.

Lewis is a Financial Accountant at Clenergy with 7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting processes, and operations. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and holds a double degree from Monash University in Accounting and Banking & Finance, where he developed a strong foundation in financial management, analysis, and strategic decision-making. He excels in data analysis and cross-team collaboration. Outside work, he enjoys live music and travelling.

Azrum Ansari is the Business Development Manager at Clenergy, with over a decade of experience in the renewable energy and energy storage sector across international markets, including Australia and the Middle East.With an engineering background and a Battery MBA, Azrum combines technical depth with commercial insight to support the growth of Clenergy’s ESS portfolio. His cross-market experience enables him to work closely with partners to deliver practical, reliable energy storage solutions tailored to real-world applications.

I completed my Bachelor of Civil Engineering in India before moving to Australia in 2020 to pursue a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering at Swinburne University. With a strong passion for the engineering industry and renewable energy, I worked as a Structural Engineer in a consultancy for three years, gaining extensive exposure to the solar PV industry through wind actions and structural assessments. Later moved to Clenergy in late October 2025 as a Sales Engineer, providing practical PV mounting solutions through technical review, engineering coordination, and client-focused problem solving. Based in Melbourne, I enjoys playing badminton and loves going for drives in my spare time.

Tracey is a Sales Administrator in the Clenergy ESS Team, where she plays a key role in supporting sales operations and managing customer relationships. With extensive experience in customer service and sales, she is responsible for providing comprehensive before- and after-sales support, handling customer enquiries, and managing feedback to ensure a consistently high level of client satisfaction. Outside of her professional role, Tracey has a strong interest in exploring different cultures and places, with a particular passion for food, gastronomy and wine. She also enjoys movies, has a keen interest in psychology, and has a deep curiosity about understanding the world through different perspectives.

Ethan is a Senior AI/Data Engineer with over six years of experience delivering machine learning and AI solutions across computer vision, speech, NLP and generative AI. He has worked end-to-end on ML systems, from model development to production deployment, helping teams improve efficiency and reduce operational cost at scale. Ethan holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and is experienced with LLM-based solutions, including RAG and agent workflows. He enjoys working at the intersection of technology and business, focusing on building practical, scalable solutions. Outside of work, Ethan is a long-time table tennis enthusiast and regularly competes in amateur events.
